Ronit85: What do you make of the 24-70 f/4 L lens? It looks like Canon has gone backwards on they line of L lens with this one. This lens does offer some + points like light weight and 0.7X macro feature.

Wow! It has been a long, long time I have reviewed a new Canon L series prime lens. uffice it to say that the competition has really stepped up its game over the past two years, and Canon is launching the new EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM to a much more crowded market. Generally all the lenses that I have mentioned are optically excellent, with the weakest of them actually being one of the Canon plain bottle: Heya! I'm thinking of a Canon 60D with the 24-105mm f/4, but how would it cope in low light? I mean, the 60D does not have *that* good ISO (6400, expandable to 12800). I have seen some photos with this exact setup in low light and they turned out a bit noisy, but maybe I'm just picky? Is this a good combo, considering the equivalent maximum wide-angle of 38mm and the 60D's ISO
Canon 24-104 f/L is the finest lens Canon has ever made! The Canon 24-105 f/4L IS USM is by far the finest lens Canon has ever made, whether it is in EF, EF-S, or RF, bar none. I have owned both the EF/EF-S version and the RF version and they are both superior performers to any lens I have ever owned. If you don't have one, buy one.
