Just started playing this, and I can't believe the freaking mini-map essentially holds your hand through everything there is to see/pick up/etc. Please tell me someone has made a mod, or whatever, to turn it off. I've tried to complete the Medusa's Call mission 3 times, all different ways. Far Cry 3 and Discord hate each other. When i start the discord stream in the Far Cry 3 Main Menu, once i load in, half of the map is just completely black. When i start streaming once im already loaded into the World, the game just crashes right away. When i play Far Cry 3 without streaming on discord at all, no black textures.
At the end of it, if you zoom in you can see a small island. On that small island there are 2 wooden logs. The chest appears on the map to be between them. If you put the waypoint on in on the map and go around she small island to watch from different angles, you can see that the sign clearly shows the chest is on the ground, between the 2 logs.

Far cry 3 game breaking glitch I have a game braking problem with Far cry 3, namely, whenever I open the game, there is no HUD, no weapon and I can't even open the map. I did not hide the HUD in the game settings and all settings were not being touched, aside of the graphical ones.
Sometimes the zoom function will stop working. Sometimes I will no longer be able to grab and pan the map, but only edge-scroll (or vice versa). Sometimes the buttons on the bottom will no longer respond (but keys will). The problem can be just one of the above, or a mix of multiple.
Load and setup FC2 at native resolution, check widescreen box. If the resolution does not step up, lower resolution, apply, then re-select native res (eg, 1920x1080). Do not run in "windowed" - if it is in windowed, you can use Alt+Enter to switch to full screen, however this can cause further issue and some crashes.
Radio Tower Glitch (Possible Spoiler) So right after you meet the doctor, you are send to the Medusa. I decided to take the hang glider rather than drive. I landed near the radio tower that is between the docs house and the Medusa and claimed to the top. But the control box at the top would not let me interact with it at all.
