Makes me feel good that I am not the only one that has dogs in the back of his A6. I too put in a seat cover along with drapes for the rear doors. I found part 4LO-886-373 left and right "frame grommets" for either $2.34 or $3.00 on 2 sites. Must be the piece.

I need to make the CAN bus connections under the back seat on a coupe as I don’t have the 360 degree camera. Any tips on its removal. I’ve searched but only found information on a B8. Just jiggle as you insert removal tool. no force needed see the pic below. Tool is being held below changer to show how to insert. I suggest you push player in as you insert tool to release any pressure on the springy retaining clip. Despite appearances it does fit past the strip.
